Are there any differences between the versions of Lego City Undercover?

Lego City Undercover recently had a remaster for the new generation of consoles, from previously being a Wii U exclusive. I have two inter-related questions:

Is there any new content in the remaster?
Is there any console-exclusive content in the remaster? For example, there were a few Nintendo references in the original version; I assume these have been removed from the PS4 and Xbox One versions - have they been left in for the Switch version?

How many LEGO City Undercover are there?

The series currently consists of two games, both released in 2013: LEGO City Undercover for Wii U. LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins for 3DS.

Is LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins the same as LEGO City Undercover?

It would be wrong to consider The Chase Begins a prequel to the Wii U exclusive Lego City Undercover. While the game's story is set two years prior to cool cop Chase McCain's return to Lego City, and follows his first encounter with the villainous Rex Fury, in gameplay terms it's more of a remix.

Is there a LEGO City Undercover 2?

LEGO City Undercover has yet to get a sequel. According to a recent Bits N' Bricks podcast episode with Matt Palmer, who served as the lead animator on LEGO City Undercover, the development team didn't want the LEGO title to become a Grand Theft Auto game.
