Can baby farmer villagers farm?

Can baby farmer villagers farm? - Senior male farmer in gumboots standing with can and watering green sprouts against wall

I was wondering if a baby farmer villager can plant and grow crops, just like a adult farmer does. I would appreciate an answer.Thank you.

Best Answer

No, they cannot.

This is because they have a different AI behavior than a grown up Villager. This is also the reason why you can't trade with baby Villagers.

However, if you have the patience to wait for 20 minutes or so, they'll grow up and they will be able to farm and trade.

To make a villager breeding farm, players need to create a 9x9 farmland of dirt and use a hoe to make farmland on which the carrots will grow. Then, break the middle block of the farmland and place water so the crops can grow on the farmland.

Can you feed baby villagers to make them grow?

Baby villagers Villagers will breed autonomously, But require food produced via crops, and at least 3 beds near each other. After exactly 20 minutes, the baby villager will grow up to an adult.

How do you make a villager baby farm?

It's raining. Villagers don't work when it's raining, instead they look for shelter (a solid block they can stand under). For farmers, this means they won't sow or harvest even if the crops are under cover with them. (If they're unable to find shelter, farmers will continue to harvest.
