No, you will not be able to continue to redeem Wii Points once the Wii Shop Channel is discontinued, per the official closure announcement from Nintendo.

The Wii Shop Channel will be closing down on January 30, 2019. Wii Points can continue to be added until March 26, 2018, and content can be purchased with existing points through January 30, 2019.

Can you still redeem Wii Points?

Since the original announcement in September 2017, we encouraged people to spend any unused Wii Points before the Wii Shop Channel closed on January 30, 2019. Refunds of Wii Points are not possible. Wii Points cannot be used to fund a Nintendo eShop account or Nintendo Account.

Does the Wii Shop Channel still work in 2021?

More recently, Nintendo announced it would be closing down the 3DS eShop and Wii U eShop by March 2023. While users will no longer be able to buy games, they'll still be able to download previous purchases.
