I'm having a problem with Minecraft multi player. I have it installed on an iPad. When someone invites me to their game, I can see the invitation pop up and then I can tap it and press "Accept". But the dialog box just disappears and nothing further happens. No error message shows up, (Just returns to previous screen as if I pressed cancel).

The friend is playing it on an Xbox One.

What could be the problem here?

Why is my Minecraft invite not working?

To get to these go to settings>account>Privacy and online safety>Xbox live privacy>view details and customize>communication and multiplayer>there are two to make sure set to allow or everybody and a third for invites: You can play with people outside of Xbox live----Allow.

Why cant I accept a Minecraft realm invite?

If you're having trouble accepting invites or joining Realms, please make sure that you are not using a modded game client and are using a resource pack that contains textures for the Realm buttons.
