Companion's Insight not working
The Black Book ability, Companion's Insight doesn't work. I can still kill my companions with daggers and all. I heard area spells bypass this ability but nothing changes, they can be hurt anyways. How to solve this?

How do you not hurt a companion in Skyrim?
best way is to move to the sides when you attack. If you have a companion who can use ranged attacks (i.e: bow , staffs, magic,etc) you can avoid the friendly fire. even then they will be out before you to take the enemies rage. You have to position yourself in the fight so you dont attack them.What is companion insight?
