Crossy road CRAB character

Crossy road CRAB character - Focus Photo of Super Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi Figurines

I just unlocked a crab on crossy road. I can not find anyone else who has unlocked this character and I'm not sure how I unlocked it? Has anyone else unlocked this character or heard of it? Also does anyone know how to unlock the disco elephant?

You have to constantly swipe side to side for as long as you can... How I got it was I was using an Australian animal like the echidna and was just just swiping side to side until the eagle killed me...it could probably be any character but just to be sure use one of the new Australian characters and swipe in the sandy/dirt areas.

How to Unlock. To unlock Gifty, the player must use Festive Chicken and then play until they find a snow plain. Running into the Christmas Tree in the center of the plain will cause gifts to fly out of the center of the Christmas tree. Once the player has finished their run, it will automatically unlock Gifty.

What is the hardest character to get in Crossy Road?

First, win or buy the Palaeontologist character. When playing as her, you'll notice big dino bones laying about on the grass. Pick up all the pieces for a dinosaur - a head, a tail, a rib cage, and a few leg bones - and then die. You'll unlock Bones before you start the next game.

More than likely, you got it out of the machine with 100 coins, or it was one of the three random limited time ones you can choose sometimes after a level (and then play with for a few runs, with the option to buy with real money if you don't want to wait and let it happen by chance from the machine).
