In the minigame Cage Match, there are levels where you have to swing the bat only when it is in the "Strike zone" These are part of levels 3-1 to 3-5. Is there any way to know if the ball is going to be a ball or a hit?

How do you determine when a ball will hit the ground?

To find when the ball hits the ground, we need to determine when the height is zero, H(t)=0 H ( t ) = 0 . We use the quadratic formula. Because the square root does not simplify nicely, we can use a calculator to approximate the values of the solutions.
