Divinity Original Sin EE - Can the elemental forge be used for crafting?

I've reached the elemental forge and broken Boreas's staff. I've also read that you can do something with weresheep wool.

But is there anything else we can do with the elemental forge ? Like improving weapons or shields ? I can't seem to find anything online.

What can I craft in the elemental Forge?

The Elemental Forge is a crafting station used to craft items made from Water Essence, Earth Essence, Fire Essence, and Air Essence. It also functions as both a Mythril Anvil and an Adamantite Forge.
