How do I activate Fallout New Vegas DLC?

How do I install the DLC for Fallout New Vegas on the Xbox One?
  • Sign into your Xbox Account.
  • Insert Disc 2 of Fallout: New Vegas.
  • All of the DLC will be queued alongside the primary version of the game. You can see what is installing by selecting "Manage game & add-ons"

  • Why is FNV not loading?

The fix is to navigate to "Documents\\My Games\\Fallout New Vegas\\" and right-click the Saves folder and open properties. Uncheck the Read-Only checkbox and click OK. You'll now be able to load your save games straight from the Main Menu.

Do you have to start a new game for Fallout New Vegas DLC?

You have to back up to a save prior to the end of the game. Unlike Broken Steel in Fallout 3, to play the DLC such as Honest Hearts and Dead Money, you have to do it during the game.

When should I start the Fallout New Vegas DLC?

You can play all of the DLC whenever you want in the main story. Except for Lonesome Road. You should play that when you're done all the other DLCs and are nearing the endgame. Generally I'd recommend: Dead Money/Honest Hearts>Honest Hearts/Dead Money> Old World Blues>Lonesome Road.
