Do races have finite numbers of ships?
Aside from the home planet encounters, which appear to have endless ships, a few questions:
- Do races have a finite number of ships in their sphere of influence?
- Will the sphere of influence shrink as I destroy more ships?
- Is it possible to eliminate a race's sphere just by destroying all their ships?
- Aside from gaining resources, is there any effect at all on the overall objective of the game by destroying ships?
