Does picking up food do anything?

In I Am Bread, various food items (such as baked beans, jelly, and licorice) can be picked up by moving over them, at which point they will stick there. I've tried this on several levels, but I don't notice any change. Does picking up food change anything, or is it just an effect?

Should I tip if I am picking up food?

In general, takeout tips should be between 5 and 10% of the total bill before any discounts or promotions. If you are able, tipping up to 20% can help struggling servers make ends meet. But it is not required or expected that customers will tip the same for takeout as they would for dining in.

Will eating food off the floor make you sick?

Should you eat food that's fallen on the floor? From a food safety standpoint, if you have millions or more cells on a surface, 0.1% is still enough to make you sick. Also, certain types of bacteria are extremely virulent, and it takes only a small amount to make you sick.
