Failed to execute fill command on player

Failed to execute fill command on player - Crop anonymous female filling questionnaire when applying for job sitting in employer office

There are other questions regarding this but they had other problems like wrong commands, so here goes:

I gave a command block the command

execute @a ~0 ~0 ~0 fill ~-30 ~-30 ~-30 ~30 ~30 ~30 minecraft:diamond_block 0 replace minecraft:gold_block

This should replace all gold blocks close to players with diamond blocks (just used them as a quick test that won't affect other things in nature). I was the only person on the server, activated the command block, but it said "Failed to execute [...] on player [me]" (It also doesn't replace the gold block conveniently placed next to me).

Is there anything wrong with the command?

How do I get the Fill command to work?

Type the command in the chat window and press the Enter key to run the command. This /fill command would replace all blocks in the fill region, including air. The replaced blocks will be dropped and can then be collected as if they were mined with a pickaxe or shovel.

  • Go to one corner of your castle and press F3. Write down the coordinates.
  • Go to the opposite diagonal corner in your castle and write down those coordinates too.
  • Open the console, and type /fill x1 y1 z1 x2 y2 z2 gold_block with the above coordinates. This fills your entire castle floor with gold blocks.
