Fallout 3 Trouble on the Homefront trophy isn't unlocking

Fallout 3 Trouble on the Homefront trophy isn't unlocking - Anonymous activist showing placard with anti violence inscription

I finished the Trouble on the Homefront quest but the trophy hasn't unlocked. Is it a glitch? Do I have to finish the quest in a certain way to unlock the trophy? I don't have any DLCs installed.

Based on the comments of the post you have encountered a glitch in the game. After leaving Vault 101 the quest should progress and the task to "Leave the Vault forever" should complete. There are no other requirements to earn the achievement apart from finishing the quest.

The only solution to this would be to replay the quest again using an old save or restarting the quest using console commands (which are unavailable on the PS3 and Xbox 360 unfortunately)

How do you unlock trouble on the homefront?

This quest will be available 14 days after completing The Waters of Life and is initiated by picking up the Vault 101 distress signal on the radio. Note that if one elects to find the G.E.C.K, there may be issues picking up the signal. To find it, simply wander near Vault 101.

How do you get back into Vault 101 after trouble on the homefront?

The Only way to get back into the vault is when you receive a new radio channel saying "vault 101 distress signal", then when you listen to it you hear Amata asking you to come back and she also tells you the password.

Does Amata ever leave the vault?

If she is told to keep the gun at the beginning of Escape!, Amata will not return it once she meets the Lone Wanderer at the vault door if the same type of gun is obtained from the vault guards.
