How can I get rid if the peace treaty that was signed by the Empire

I have been trying to get rid of the Thalmor in Skyrim so that they don't capture me for worshiping Talos. I have traveled all over Skyrim to find the quest that gets rid of the White Gold Concordant.

Is there a quest? If so, where?

There is no quest to get rid of the White-Gold Concordat, I believe. See the list of all Skyrim quests here. Closest thing, IMO, is to win the civil war in favor of the Stormcloaks.

Though, gameplay-wise, the random encounters with the Thalmor will still occur. And lore-wise, the White-Gold Concordat would still be in effect in the rest of the Empire.

Is there a way to get rid of the Thalmor in Skyrim?

you'll need a full blown War since the Thalmor isn't a shadowy faction like the 6th House of the Mythic Dawn, they are a political force with armies which brought the Empire to it's knees (forcing the White-Gold Concordat) and almost wiped out the Blades.

Can the Empire beat the Thalmor?

The Empire doesn't have the power to *beat* the Dominion, and they don't have good enough intelligence assets to stop the Thalmor from screwing around with their internals more or less at will.

Are the Stormcloaks or Imperials better for Skyrim?

Pick Imperial if you want to play a character who is originally from a place aside from Skyrim, as it doesn't make sense to fight under a banner that ultimately won't accept you. Pick Stormcloak if you believe the Empire has no right to say what Skyrim denizens can and can't do, especially if you are a Nord.

What happens to the Thalmor after Skyrim?

The Thalmor will no longer have a Markarth presence. Ancano will remain in the College of Winterhold until you complete the Archmage quest there. The Thalmor prison at Northwatch Keep will become the new military base of operations for the Thalmor and will continue to spawn Thalmor.
