How can I start over? - Book On A White Wooden Table

Is there a way to completely start the game over? Some things in the game are altered between runs and are permanently changed. For example, there is a broom closet in the left hallway that has interesting dialogue. If you enter it a second time on another play-through, you get more dialogue. From then on, the room is boarded up and cannot be entered.

Is there a was to start clean without reinstalling the game or anything?

Best Answer

Two things of interest to get a cleaner start.

First, the save files are, according to this gamefaq thread in

...saves are located in your steamlibrary \SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\The Stanley Parable\thestanleyparable\save then the subdirectory you ll find there.

Deleting them will make sure nothing from previous saves might be used.

Second, this youtube video shows that you can reset your achievement progress with

Use the console command "tsp_resetzaxis" to reset your achievement progress

so that you can do them again.
