How do I get the vertical black bars while playing cs 1.6? - Man and Woman Playing Chess

My current desktop reso is 1366x768

In cs 1.6 I have selected display option as Normal and Resolution as 1024x768.

In this settings I don't get those vertical black side bars which make the playing screen square.

Atm it is rectangular but I wanted square.

Click library( On top) select counter strike(from the list which is on the left side),right click on counter strike, select properties then select launch option. And copy paste this into your launch options-

-nofbo -stretchacpect

How do I make counter strike 1.6 full screen?

Open steam, click right on Counter-Strike and go to properties, click on launch game options.

Put this in game launch options: -gl -nofbo -width 800.

Start the game and enjoy.
