How do I level up in Pillars of Eternity?
In my log I saw a message saying I had earned enough experience points to level up! But I can't work out how to do it... I looked in the Character tab, where I expected to find it, but no such luck.

There's a small golden + on the bottom left of the screen during normal adventuring.

No, in this game there are no respawns, and you only get limited XP from kills, since once you've completed the ingame bestiary entry for a type of enemy, you don't gain any XP from killing further ones. The level cap has been raised from 12 to 14 in Part I, and is further increased in Part II to level 16.
