How is effect precedence determined?

How is effect precedence determined? - Young female athlete in active wear with concentrated gaze riding bicycle in shiny cloud while looking forward

I was using Savannah Highmane and my opponent has a Sylvanas Windrunner. I attacked Sylvanas, fearing that the Deathrattle will take control of one Hyena. I feel lucky, because it did not happen.

I want to know if there are some general rules of effect precedence.

  1. Has Blizzard published something about this?
  2. Are there articles teaching about precedence?

Please note, I want guidance about effect precedence in general, not just about Deathrattle.

How does the precedence effect work?

When a sound is followed by another sound separated by a sufficiently short time delay (below the listener's echo threshold), listeners perceive a single auditory event; its perceived spatial location is dominated by the location of the first-arriving sound (the first wave front).

Which of the following defines the precedence effect?

The "precedence effect" refers to a group of phenomena that are thought to be involved in resolving competition for perception and localization between a direct sound and a reflection.

What is the precedence effect how might it be related to hearing echoes?

Specifically, when two sound sources reach a listener close together in time, listeners often hear a single \u201cfused\u201d image whose perceived direction is near the location of the first-arriving sound.

How do you do Haas effect?

The Haas effect is very easy to use. All you have to do is create a delayed version of the sound you want to make wider. Then pan the original and delayed sounds in opposite directions: one hard left and the other hard right. The timing of the panning is the most important part.
