I am getting a New 3DS XL soon and I am planning on transferring my games/data/Homebrew, and I want to make a backup of my whole system in case I screw something up.
I want to backup everything on my old 3DS, which has Homebrew on it.

How do I transfer data from my old 3DS?

Complete these steps
  • From the HOME Menu tap the System Settings Icon and then Open.
  • Tap Other Settings.
  • Tap 3 and then System Transfer.
  • Tap Transfer from Nintendo 3DS.
  • Read the information about the transfer and tap Agree.
  • Tap Send from This System.
