How to change region for competitive Rocket League tournaments?

In Rocket League, when I play Tournaments it says I am playing in the region "NORTH AMERICA".

I am from Europe though and playing with 120ms ping is no fun.

When playing in normal mode, I can change the region setting from a dropdown right from the playlist view.

Yet for the tournaments I am unable to find it. Where do I change the region for competitive tournaments?

Select Settings from the Main Menu.

Select the Gameplay tab.

Select the Tournament Schedule Region dropdown box.

Select your region. This setting can only be changed once every 24 hours.

How do you play competitive Tournaments in Rocket League?

Open Rocket League.

Select Play from the Main Menu.

Select Tournaments.

Select your Play Window.

How do you join a custom tournament in Rocket League?

You can join the lobby by:

Booting up Rocket League.

Selecting Play from the main menu screen.

Selecting Private Match and selecting Join Private Match.

From here, you can enter the provided Name and Password in order to join the lobby.

Can you rejoin Rocket League Tournaments?

For a disconnected player, Rocket League will try to reconnect the player if the match is still active. The ban will only go into effect after the match is complete and will only last five minutes.
