How to defeat Stalker solo?
If solo, I can only face him in melee with Valkyr (lvl 24), but somehow Stalker cancels Valkyr's Hysteria ability (making me vulnerable to attacks again).
I didn't try with the Cernos Bow: I wonder, if I hit him in the head will I instagib him or at least do massive damage (like 40% of his bar)?
If not, are there any other efficient ways?

I like to use guns that can stun lock him. For example, the last time I solo'd Stalker, I was using the Zephyr frame, while using a Karak with high fire rate and Blast Damage to "stagger" him, so to speak.
I find that some good efficient ways to kill the Stalker solo revolve around using high damage output guns. Melee generally doesn't work, because the Stalker can easily shred through your armor. Guns like the Soma and the Boltor Prime work wonders and can easily destroy Stalker.

Run a lot, and just turn around for 1 hit, then keep dodging, runnning. Once he gets a hold of you, he'll follow you. Just run and shoot once you got some space between you and him.
He won't dissapear until he's dead or you are if I remember correctly, so just run and shoot (Bows work pretty well)

I find him easy to defeat by just running in a big circle, firing a Synoid Simulor over my shoulder as I go. Causes AE damage, so accuracy is kind of irrelevant. Just keep moving so he does not get you lined up for a charge or ranged attack

Play on a map that you know has an emplacement or something similar depending on where you are such as Mars or a Grineer ship. After the second taunt, get to the emplacement quickly. Use it to grind him to dust.

Broken war seems to bring down his health pretty quickly when maxed out and using the right mods

Pray to God that the tileset has an emplacement. Blast him to bits with it. Bonus points if it's an infested map and all the enemies try to kill him instead of you.
At least, that's how I killed him when he finally decided to attack me.
