I have an ascended piece of equipment with a defensive infusion slot, which currently contains a +3 agony resistance infusion. I have now crafted a +6 agony infusion and I would like to replace the current one with this new, better one.

However, agony infusions can only be applied to unused defensive infusion slots. How can I replace an existing defensive infusion with a new one?

How do you upgrade agony infusion?

To upgrade agony infusions, you will need have an artificer 100 level character. Place two identical agony infusions together with Thermocatalytic Regeant (purchased from the Master Artificer, 10 for 15 silver) to upgrade them a single infusion of the the next tier.

Can you infuse accessories gw2?

Only rings and back items can be infused. Rings can also be attuned, a similar process to infusing which likewise adds an infusion slot. A ring that has been both attuned and infused will have two additional infusion slots (3 total). Attuning and infusing can be performed in either order.

Can you change infusion stats gw2?

Infusing an Ascended ring or back item that has selectable stats will "reset" the item, allowing you to choose a different set of stats. This method is only possible once per ring or back item.
