I can't set my clan tag in Black Ops 3

I am having trouble setting a clan tag. I don't have an internet connection on my PS4, so I just play offline on a LAN. After I type type the clan tag in it just disappears when I exit the menu, as if I never entered it. Other PS4 accounts can create clan tags, just not mine.

How do you put a clan tag on Black Ops 3?

On ps4, press the options button to open the menu. Then from there you can edit the tag and emblem. Before a game you can press options/start and go to clan tag.

Highlight the Paintjob in the Paintshop, or the Emblem in the Emblem Editor.

Press the Menu button to open Options.

Select Publish to name and push your creation to your Showcase.
