I killed Flowey and reloaded my save file, but he's still not there! [duplicate]

I killed Flowey after a pacifist run and then, realizing that I now could not get true pacifist, I reloaded my save file. But Flowey wasn't there. I did this a few more times, and eventually I just reset, but Flowey still wasn't there. Help?

undertale has like a "safe save" it records stuff even if you reload a save file, so people wouldnt do stuff like that, i remember a youtube video explaining that, there is even an easter egg with flowey too using that "save" system, i may be wrong, but i remember something in those lines

What happens if you kill Flowey and reset?

If he was killed after his battle, Flowey does not leave a message for the protagonist after the credits close, and, after a reset, does not appear until after the resolution of Asgore's battle. Flowey then berates the protagonist for thinking that killing him solved anything.

Can you kill Flowey and still get true pacifist?

Killing flowey doesn't count as a kill. You can still do True Pacifist after you kill Flowey. If you spared him, he would've given you a tip on how to do the True Pacifist route.

Does Flowey come back if you kill him?

Will he actually return (in the True Pacifist Route)? Yes. He will be there. When you reload a save, everything is reset to the way it was before.
