In Skyrim, Shadowmere has been lost for about 3 levels, how do I find her? [duplicate]

So, after the DBH quests, I went to the new Sanctuary, and did a lot of other quests, including the main story line, Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and just started the Dragonborn DLC. I've been wandering around with the Aura Whisper shout, and I've not found her. The last time I saw her was when I bought a horse from Whiterun, and rode it around until I reached Windhelm, and then it died due to a dragon. Shadowmere has not respawned (if dead), or turned up after fast-travelling. I tried reloading save files, but then I kept losing her. Is there a way to get her back?--

She wasn't at the black pool at EITHER Sanctuary and I still cannot find her. I've looked about everywhere and still she has not turned up and I've not found her.

You rode another horse so she is not tied to you right now.. She should have walked back to the black pool by where you initialy got her during the DBH quests.

How do I find my lost Shadowmere?

Try going to the place where you bought, got or stolen your current horse. Shadowmere should be nearby. Try casting the Alteration spell, Detect Life, or use the Aura Whisper dragon shout (longer range than Detect Life) to try to find Shadowmere. Shadowmere should be within the range of Detect Life or Aura Whisper.

What do you do if you lost Shadowmere?

Go to the Pool he did came up from, when you got him. You can try there. ^ That should spawn a new instance of him at your location if you REALLY cant find him. Also for furture knowledge, even if shadowmere DOES die, he will either respawn at the pool where you aquire him or where he did in about ten in game days.

Unlike its previous incarnation, Shadowmere can be killed by long falls or in combat. Shadowmere will, however, respawn around ten days later, at the location of death. Shadowmere will not respawn in this location if killed in a body of water. In that case, he will respawn in the pool outside the Falkreath Sanctuary.

If Shadowmere dies in a river or lake, he will respawn after 10 days in the black pool near the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary.
