Is Dragon Quest 11 Switch playable with only 1 Joycon? - Brown Dragon Statue in White Background

As the title says, I'd like to know if it's possible to play DQ11 single handedly (or at least do most of the stuff with one joycon, left or right).

Some of the older DQ allows to Confirm/Cancel with the trigger button, making it somewhat playable one handed.

Is Dragon Quest XI two player?

Sadly we have some bad news on that front. There is no splitscreen local co-op multiplayer in Dragon Quest XI. The game is wholly a single-player affair. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news this time, but you should have plenty to enjoy just in the single-player.

Does Dragon Quest XI run well on Switch?

The Switch iteration has a dynamic resolution and hangs between 1280 x 720, 1408 x 792 and 1440 x 810 when docked. In handheld mode, the results are around 540p on average. In terms of performance, it runs at a "stable" 30 frames per second \u2013 matching the original PlayStation 4 release.

Can I play Dragon Quest 11 without playing the others?

Do i need to play any other Dragon Quest to understand this one or are they seperate just like Final Fantasy games ? Nope. Only Dragon Quest 1, 2 and 3 had directly related storylines. The rest only share references, but can be played the same without playing any others, like Final Fantasy.

Does Dragon Quest 11 Switch have voice acting?

For starters, the game is fully voiced in English, the original Japanese release didn't feature VO at all. They've also polished up the character and camera controls, as well as adding a first-person camera mode you can use while standing still and adding a dash to help you move through the environment faster.
