Is it of any consequence how many cryo trays you save from Kharak?

Is it of any consequence how many cryo trays you save from Kharak? - Different plastic bottles and household supplies

In the third mission of Homeworld Remastered, Return To Kharak, upon our appearance, a number of frigates are attacking the cryo trays containing the remaining people from our planet.

In our second attempt, we were still only able to salvage five of the six cryo trays. Is it of any consequence (besides our anguish at having lost 100.000 people) for the game progress, how many of the cryo trays have been rescued?

I.e. does saving all six trays perhaps give you bonus resources, research or similar?

How do I beat return to kharak?

Use Heavy Corvettes on the distracted frigates to quickly destroy them, as well as any fighters if they're still present in the fleet, while using Repair Corvettes to keep them from being destroyed. Once a few frigates are destroyed, send in Salvage Corvettes to capture one of the frigates.

How do you beat Homeworld Mission 3?

Send a fighter to kite ghost ship escorts a small distance from ghost ship and destroy them or capture what you can (there should be a missile destroyer and a couple of multi-beam frigates which could be useful to capture). After you delt with escort, build like 25 bombers and order them to attack the ghost ship.
