Is it possible to get 100% fire resistance? - Group of Friends Sitting in Front of Fire Pit

I recently saw Hotspur, which makes it possible to get 90% fire resistence. Is it possible to enhance this further to 100%? Or is there a "maximum" of the maximum fire resistence? And if so what would this mean for fire absorbtion? Will my characer constantly be heald during a fight against Diablo?

Can you get 100% resist in d2?

A character's default maximum resistance value is 75%, although certain Unique items and skills can raise that number as high as 95%. Therefore, a character can never become completely immune to elemental attacks with resistances alone.

How do you get fire resistance in D&D?

Any creature that is fully submerged in water has resistance to fire damage. Many spells, magic items, and potions also grant characters resistance to fire damage, but more on that in a minute.

What is fire resistance?

Fire resistance is the property of a material (such as insulation) or assembly to withstand fire and continue to perform its given function and/or provide containment of a fire for a specified period of time.

What is fire resistance DND?

Resistance reduces damage taken by half, but only for the specific damage type(s) you are resistant to. If you take an odd number of damage, you round the end result down, e.g. in our example, 91 fire damage is halved to 45.5, you'd then round down to 45 damage total instead.
