Is it possible to remove Gwent mods without starting a new game? - Man and woman carrying carton box

I've added a Gwent mod (specifically, Gwent Redux) but after playing with it for a while, I decided I don't like it. However, when I remove the mod, I lose all my cards. Is there any way to get original Gwent back, without restarting the game?

I tried adding the original cards with console commands, but that didn't work.

Go to your mods folder in your Witcher 3 directory and delete the mod. It's best to install all of your mods manually because NMM doesn't always install or uninstall them properly.

How do I get rid of Gwent cards?

On the right there are the cards in your deck that you will be playing with, and on the left are the cards that you own, but won't use in a duel. If you want to remove the card from your deck(right) you have to double click it.

What happens if you lose the Gwent tournament?

If you lose you just lose the game basically, you don't lose card or Orens. There is one case however that some people make a huge mistake. The Gwent Tournament in Novigrad seems just like a Quest where you play a tournament of Gwent. If you actually win every game you will be facing a guy in a fist fight.

Can mods break Witcher 3?

Only uninstalling mods that change or alter game in any way will break your game. Most are totally fine.
