OSRS saw the release of a new quest today and with that comes a new slayer monster called the Basilisk Knight. Their unique drop is the Basilisk Jaw. Can this drop be obtained off task? Or is it one of those drops that can only be obtained on task?

What drops basilisk jaw?

The basilisk jaw is a unique drop from basilisk knights. It can be combined with the helm of Neitiznot, after the completion of The Fremennik Exiles, to create an untradeable Neitiznot faceguard.

Can you remove basilisk jaw?

The basilisk knight has an improved drop table from regular basilisks, and can drop the basilisk jaw, which can be used to upgrade the Helm of Neitiznot to the Neitiznot faceguard.

Which Slayer master assigns basilisk?

Konar, Duradel and Nieve will be able to assign Basilisks as your task. Increase the risk against certain slayer monsters with the chance of a superior version spawning whilst on a slayer task. Number of Basilisks assigned is increased to 200-250.
