Is there a shortcut to Highpool City Center?

Do you really have to run all the way up to elevator and watch elevation animation for 10th time again and again?

Lately I realized I can leave one party member at the entrance to save on return trip, but anyway running 5m to ask Ms.Preston if she's ready is a bit boring.

Any better options I missed?

Is it possible to save Highpool and Ag Center?

Since you cannot save both Highpool and Ag Center at least one of them will be destroyed. Which one you save is up to you and is supposed to be a tough moral choice, but also about which additional character you'd like to have (Rose in Ag Center, Vulture's Cry in Highpool or none).

How do I get to Highpool Wasteland 2?

Keep heading around the tower and finish the next fight, protecting the civilians if you can. Proceed further along the path and kill the next group of enemies, before interacting with the nearby control panel to access Highpool itself.

Is there a time limit in Wasteland 2?

Yes, there's a time limit on both and getting...."lost" (it's not your fault the map was upside down).... On the way to both/either is an option.

What is there to do in Highpool?

Quests

Protect Highpool from the Wrecking Crew.

Restore power to the radio tower.

Talk to Kate Preston in the tunnels under Highpool \u2192 Help Kate Preston fix Highpool's irrigation system.

Find the Wrecking Crew stronghold and wipe them out (only if Highpool was destroyed)
