Is there any way to ensure that Eevee evolves into its other forms? [duplicate]

Across the different versions of Pokémon, Eevee has many evolutions. Is it possible to choose what evolution we get when we evolve an Eevee?

From Bulbapedia:

Umbreon when leveled up with high friendship during the nighttime (Generation II onward, excludes areas with a Moss Rock or Ice Rock), or when leveled up with a Moon Shard in the Bag (Pokémon XD).

Glaceon when leveled up near an Ice Rock (Generation IV onward).

We don't have Moss or Ice rocks, just Eevee candies. Is the evolution in Pokémon GO random, or is there a way to control which evolution is chosen?

Can you evolve Eevee twice?

Espeon and Umbreon can be attained multiple times through the same means of evolution. You'll find an Eevee, make that Eevee your buddy Pokemon, and walk that buddy 10km or more.

Can you guarantee an Eevee evolution?

Trainers can guarantee any of Eevee's evolutions once, each using a specific nickname. Simply nicknaming your Eevee one of the special names below will grant you the Eeveelution of your choice - use 25 Eevee candy and your Eevee will evolve to the evolution with the corresponding nickname.

How do you get Eevee to evolve into all forms?

You can evolve an Eevee into an Espeon (psychic), Umbreon (dark type), Flareon (a fire type), a Vaporeon (a water type) or a Jolteon (an electric type) just by changing your Eevee's name. This trick only works once per name, so do each evolution with an Eevee that has good stats for the best results.

Does the Eevee evolution trick still work?

You can still get Espeon and Umbreon reliably after using the name trick by walking with the Eevee as your buddy and feeding it at least two candies before evolving. Evolving at night will get an Umbreon and at day will result in Espeon.
