Is it possible to log the time I have spent flying aircraft?

I am starting to learn how to fly helicopters and I am interested in how much time I've spent in the air - or in the ground for that matter. Much like pilots do in the real-world.

Is there a mod, or perhaps a built-in character statistics somewhere?

How long does it take to log 1500 flight hours?

That is, the FARs say you must log date, flight time, departure and arrival airport(s), aircraft make and model and identification, and the name of the safety pilot, if required. You also need to log the type of pilot experience, such as PIC, and conditions of the flight, such as day, night, or instrument.

Are you required to log all flight time?

Pilots log their own hours in the logbooks and keep a rough mental track of hours flown to ensure compliance with Flight Time Limitation rules. The airline will also log pilot hours to stay in accordance with FTL and compare rosters to actual hours flown.
