Pokestop bug: Did I still get my items?

Pokestop bug: Did I still get my items? - Gray Wall Paint

Something strange just happened. I tried to spin a Pokestop right as it was turning to blue, but it wouldn't let me.

I impatiently kept trying and eventually it said 'try again later'. So I restarted my game and now the Pokestop is purple! But the other ones around me (I'm in an area where I can reach 4) are able to be used perfectly.

Did I lose my items?

Best Answer

Pokestops turn from purple to blue over a few seconds - but the colour change completes a bit before the pokestop is fully ready - if you spin it just after it completes turning blue the animation does not show the items nor does it turn purple again - but if you spin it again it says 'Try again later' as a purple pokestop does. Then a few seconds later it goes purple and behaves like a recently used pokestop. However if you review the journal it shows that you do get the items even though you don't see them on the screen as you are spinning the pokestop.

Why am I not getting items from PokeStops?

This is most likely a connection issue. If your connection is bad, or the servers are under heavy load, PokeStops and Gyms will struggle to fully load in, not giving you items. On a side note, if the PokeStop is staying blue, but saying "Try again later," check your bag, as you probably got the items anyways.

How long does it take for a PokeStop to restock?

Pok\xe9Stops and Gyms restock every 5 minutes.

Why does it keep saying my item bag is full Pokemon go?

To be more precise the Pokemon Go Bag can store up to 350 items. When you reach this limit you're prompted that the backpack is full. When this happens, visits paid to PokeStops end up empty handed because you don't have place to store new items. A solution would be to visit the Shop and purchase a backpack extension.

How often can you get items from PokeStop?

Since you're able to get items from a Pokestop around every five minutes or so, a smart plan is to find an area with multiple stops and go tour around them. If you walk round in a circuit, by the time you get back to the beginning, you can hit up your first Pokestop again.

It only means the 5-minutes timer from your last spin hasn't completed yet. You have to wait some more until 5 minutes had actually lapsed before you can spin again.
