Prison Architect- Dog Patrols don't work [closed]

I have 40 dogs and around 10 - 15 patrol routes with dogs assigned to them, but only on about half the routes dogs are present. Most of the Dogs are bugging around their crates, but 10 of them still are walking free in some of the walkways.

How can I force them to go to the patrol routes?

Side-question: Does anyone know why they bugging around the doors?

This is the layout so you can see where the patrols should be - all around the cube in between the fences - 2 in a straight line side by side for each side (north, west, east). You can also see the Kennel Area.

And this is where the Dogs are most of the time, at totally random places, all over the Prison or at the Kennel (not resting but hanging around).

How do you assign dog patrols in prison architect?

To create Dog patrols, left click and drag your desired route onto the deployment map. Dogs must be assigned to a route directly by clicking on an existing patrol route square. This will assign a Dog and a Dog Handler to patrol. To remove a patrol route, right click and drag over the route you want to delete.

How do you set patrol routes in prison architect?

You first select Patrol, click to create one Patrol square. Click a second time to assign a guard to this square. Click and drag to create a line. Any assigned guard will walk along the line until they grow tired, then they visit a Staff Room.

How do you get dog handlers prison architect?

Dog handlers can be purchased after unlocking Security, Patrols and Dogs from the Bureaucracy screen. Hiring a dog handler is the only way to obtain a guard dog, which will be especially useful to detect smelly contraband and escape tunnels.

What is a dog patrol in prison architect?

Much like guards, dogs can also have set patrol paths which they will follow with their handler to help patrol the prison. Additionally, guard dogs are the first staff members to have energy. The energy status bar can be found underneath the dog, and will gradually deplete over time.
