PS4 LAN party Online

PS4 LAN party Online - Gaming Chairs and Computers

Last weekend we've tried to have a LAN party with some friends all with PS4's, in total 6 PS4's. We tried to play FIFA 17 profclub and Battlefield 1 online.

But when trying to play online a few PS4's could connect to the Fifa servers and Battlefield servers, just two PS4's did not get any connection with the servers.

All PS4's where connected via working cables, all the PS4's could connect to PSN, but only when try to join an online server, the server connection failed.

There was an cable internet connection 150/15mbps, so I guess there is bandwidth enough.

Now I'm wondering is there something I forgot or need to know about having a LAN party with multiple Playstation 4's?

Can you do LAN party on PS4?

If they live close by---perhaps in the same block---you could set up a LAN party using Wi-Fi. A wireless network is ideal when you don't have the time, permission, or ability to route Ethernet cables. All you need is a wireless network, game software, and friends to play with.

Can you LAN party over Wi-Fi?

You won't have the low latency a LAN connection gives you, as you'll still be dealing with the latency that sending traffic over the Internet adds. However, there should ideally be no more latency than if you were playing the game over the Internet in the first place.

Can you play online with LAN?

If you don't need to have internet access during your LAN party, you can just use a switch and no router. You may want to have internet access, however, so that other players can download any necessary updates or games that they don't have installed.
