I told Lydia to wait near the bridge at whiterun so I could go kill some giants, in my way I encountered a dragon and when I go back to the bridge I can't seem to find her there? What do I do?

Best Answer

First you can try Fast Travel. She should be transported right next to you.

If it doesn't work, check your house or the Jarl's Palace in Whiterun, and maybe sleep or wait there for three days.

If you still cannot find her... she probably died, sorry.

What to do if Lydia disappeared Skyrim?

Visit one of any potential followers, such as Teldryn Sero or Frea, and ask them to follow you. If they say you already have a follower, that means Lydia is still following you, but she is lost. If this is the case, just wait for Lydia to reappear.

How do you get Lydia to reappear?

Open the console and click on her body. A code will appear. Simply type "resurrect" into the console, press enter, and close the console. She will be resurrected.

Can I Respawn Lydia?

The only real option is to load a previous save. Once again, however, PC players can use console commands to resurrect her. They just need to type the "resurrect" code after clicking on her body, and Lydia will return just as she was, though some players report her inventory resetting after she's brought back to life.

How do you find Lydia If you lose her?

If you told her you wanted to party ways she will return to the house in Whiterun. It can take time for her to travel there so if she is not there when you arrive, just wait a while and she will pop up. Like say you were in Solitude when you parted ways, it will take a few days in game for her to return.
