Does anyone know if there any secret passages inside Nchuand-Zel?

I firmly believe there aren't, it is a "railroad" quest until you get to the ruins.

The wiki also doesn't mention anything of the kind.

The only note is that if you talk to Calcelmo you can enter after killing the spider, if you don't there's an adept lock keeping the door shut.

How do I get into Nchuand-Zel Excavation Site?

To reach the Nchuand-Zel Excavation Site, enter Understone Keep and immediately go to the left. Climb a small hill and continue going straight. Climb the set of four stairs, which lead to a larger flight of stairs. At the top of the second set of stairs is the entrance to the excavation site.
