Do I need a Covid test to enter NZ?

You do not need a pre-departure test to enter New Zealand. Most travellers need to be vaccinated and take 2 rapid antigen tests (RATs) after arriving in New Zealand. If you transit through New Zealand, you do not need to be vaccinated or complete the New Zealand Traveller Declaration.

Can I travel to New Zealand if I am vaccinated?

Any vaccine that has been approved by at least 1 government health authority or approval authority is approved for entry into New Zealand. To be eligible to enter New Zealand, you must have had a full course of an approved COVID-19 vaccine.

What are the Covid restrictions in New Zealand?

Face coverings are required by legislation on all New Zealand domestic flights and Air New Zealand requires all passengers to wear a face-covering on international flights. Since 1 February 2022, Air New Zealand requires customers aged 18 or older travelling anywhere on its international network to be fully vaccinated.
