What are the prerequisites to encounter the legendaries in ORAS?
There are a lot of legendaries available in ORAS, however a lot of them will only show up/be available if certain prerequisites are met.
I know Groudon/Kyogre are available through the Story, and
Rayquaza & Deoxys
through the postgame Delta episode, but what about the other available legendaries? What do I need to do to catch them?

How do you unlock Legendaries in Oras?
You can encounter Latios and Latias in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire respectively. This is the first Legendary Pok\xe9mon you will be able to obtain in the main game, and you won't even need to battle it. There's only one in your copy of the game. Big ground beasty Groudon is exclusive to Omega Ruby while water monster Kyogre is just for Alpha Sapphire players. If you want both, you'll need to trade with someone generous or gullible.
