What do you do to board a gun boat once you are too powerful? - Unrecognizable young bearded ethnic craftsman pointing with paintbrush at camera sitting at table in modern creative workshop

Just ramming them means they sink. The swiffle cannon makes them sink too. A Scooners/Brigs will be instantly red after one ramming which is convenient.

But the gunboat is too weak.

I like boarding them if I can because that means I can just get diamonds easily.

How do you beat the legendary ship in La Dama Negra?

Take your time with this ship and retreat when necessary to a distance to gather yourself for another attack on it. A good maneuver to do is to get up behind the Negra and chain-shot it to slow it, mortar it, and then turn and nail it with a heavy shot or two directly on its rear cabin.

How do you beat El Impoluto?

You don't have to battle a ship to capture it. Simply maneuver into a ship's path, climb out of the Jackdaw and board the enemy ship and you can kill its entire crew. Once this is done, return to your ship and you can pull up alongside it and capture it.
