On Chapter 5, Drake tries to persuade one of the pirates to open the gate for him. The conversation between the two is on a foreign language and is not on the subtitles.
What are they saying?
The conversation is the following:
Pirate: Ha-low?
Nate: Buka pintu.
Pirate: Siapa ini? Bicara sekarang!
Nate: Ah crap.
Nate: Sialan lo! Cepatan, buka pintu!
Pirate: Ah, tai!

What does Buka Pintu mean?
This phrase is forever etched in my memory. If I'm not mistaken, this phrase means open the door or something similar. Is it Malaysian or Indonesian? In Tagalog (A language in the Philippines), "Bukas" means open and "Pinto" means door. What language do they speak in Uncharted 1?
I think it's to show that these mercenaries have a very diverse background, though they definitely speak an Indonesian language during cutscenes.Adventure Escape Mysteries PIRATES TREASURE Chapter 5 Walkthrough
