What's the best way to kill prometheans?
In Halo 5, is there any "best" way to kill prometheans? With the dog-like ones, it seems like headshots are effective. But with the soldiers and knights, it seems like headshots and bodyshots are equally effective (in contrast to fighting covenant, where headshots knock-back the enemies and deal more damage). Am I wrong about this? It's very hard for me to tell because there doesn't seem to be knock-back with Prometheans.

santyclause's answer is quite good, but some points I would like to add regarding knights.
Knights are more vulnerable to back smacks, but they won't die immediately like soldiers and crawlers. In Warzone game modes there are stronger knights that won't die on just a few hammer or shotgun hits. Knights have also a very weak point in their back after their shields are down that glows just like their face.

The Shotgun and Scattershot are good weapons against the Prometheans. Even on Legendary, only 3-4 shots are needed to kill them.
