When do I get some taxes from my Stronghold?

When do I get some taxes from my Stronghold? - American dollar bills and vintage light box with inscription

I put quite a bit of money into restoring Caed Nua, and I was under the impression that I would be able to collect some taxes in return. But so far it doesn't seem like I earned any income from my Stronghold. I checked in the treasury chest, but it was empty.

Do I have to build a specific upgrade or wait longer to collect some taxes?

Best Answer

I got my first tax payment about a month after acquiring the stronghold (600 at level 25 prestige and security)

How do you raise taxes in Stronghold Crusader?

In most games, taxing can be controlled from the keep or its respective popularity panel. In Stronghold 2, a treasury is required along with a bailiff in order to adjust tax rates. Gold from taxes/bribery are added/subtracted in the end of each month.

What is prestige in pillars of eternity?

Prestige \u2013 increases the taxes collected and quality of "good" random events occurring (rare item offers, prestigious visitors, etc). Security \u2013 reduces the taxes you lose to banditry, frequency of "bad" random events occurring (attacks, chances of guests being attacked on the road or guests being kidnapped, etc.).
