Where does Shadowmere respawn? [duplicate]

I was doing the last quest for the blades, and I had to go talk to Paratharax at the throat of the world. I decided not to kill Paratharax until I finished the all the Greybeards quests.

I decided to take a shortcut down the side of the mountain, riding Shadowmere, and we fell. Shadowmere died. I fast travelled to Whiterun, waited 10 days, and went back to where he died, but he still wasn't there.

I went back to doing quests. I know its been at least 100 days since he died, and I saw on here that you have to wait 15-20 days, so I'm wondering if it has been too long.

If he did, where would he respawn? On the top of the Throat of the world, down the side of the mountain where he died, or at the position he came to rest?

He should respawn in 20-25 in-game days at the place of death.

It's a pain, I know, but that horse makes dragon fights easy!

Is there a way to Respawn Shadowmere?

Unlike its previous incarnation, Shadowmere can be killed by long falls or in combat. Shadowmere will, however, respawn around ten days later, at the location of death. Shadowmere will not respawn in this location if killed in a body of water. In that case, he will respawn in the pool outside the Falkreath Sanctuary.

Why is Shadowmere not respawning?

Shadowmere is actually a unique horse and will not stay dead, but it may take some time for her to respawn. The easiest place to check would be by the pool where you found her as all horses will tend to go 'home' when left alone for a long period of time.

Where is Shadowmere after another horse?

If she doesn't appear, check the small lake in front of the falkreath sanctuary. If not, try buying another horse and kill it. Shadowmere should become your default horse then and might "respawn" when you fast travel.

Try going to the place where you bought, got or stolen your current horse. Shadowmere should be nearby. Try casting the Alteration spell, Detect Life, or use the Aura Whisper dragon shout (longer range than Detect Life) to try to find Shadowmere. Shadowmere should be within the range of Detect Life or Aura Whisper.
