I've only ever seen Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) credited to "Konami." Does anyone know which invdividuals were responsible for designing/directing the game?

Why did Konami stop making DDR?

Konami had its reasons: America's arcade scene was declining, and tumultuous lawsuits had nibbled at the company's resources and manpower. American arcade visitors had trouble finding reliable DDR machines.
