For some reason, I can't add my strongest Pokémon to a friendly gym? Will someone tell me why this is happening for me?

Best Answer

Your Pokémon must have full HP (Health Points).

You probably just defeated the gym with your strongest Pokémon and wanted to place it directly in it, but I guess you didn't conquer it without losing HP.

Can you put two of the same Pokemon in a gym?

You can also only place one of your own Pok\xe9mon into a single Gym at a time, and you cannot place any Pok\xe9mon species in a Gym that is already in that Gym (so if there is a Blissey in the Gym already, you cannot add another Blissey.)

Can you put Zarude in a gym?

Zarude is not a Legendary Pokemon, but he IS a Mythical Pokemon. This means he will not be able to be placed as a defender at a Pokemon Gym.
