When you put two Pokémon of the same kind but opposite gender in the Pokémon daycare they will start to spawn eggs at rapid rate. Only one egg can be held by the day care man though.

What I do not understand is what is the benefit of hatching the Pokémon which I already have. Is there anything interesting about Pokémon hatched from egg contrary to the one caught in the wild?
