If you adopt a little sister then kill another big daddy, will the little sister that you adopted leave you / get mad at you? What if you already have adopted a little sister and dont want to leave her for another one, do you have to harvest the other little sister or can you just leave her alone ?

What happens if you kill a Big Daddy without a little sister?

Big Daddy's will only respawn if you failed to aquire the Little Sister he was partnered with. On a side note, In the part where you're roaming around the Upper Wharf early on after talking to the crazy fisherman guy, all three Big Daddies will show up in the same room if you wait around enough.

Do you have to kill Big Daddy to save little sister?

Not killing a Big Daddy means you won't be able to harvest or rescue the corresponding Little Sister, so you won't get any ADAM for buying upgrades. The only advantage of avoiding a Big Daddy is that they are challenging enemies to deal with, so you save some ammo and health kits by not having to fight them.

Why do little sisters disappear?

Little Sisters don't die unless you Harvest 'em, they will hide in the portholes if you kill the Big Daddy and do not get to them fast enough. Once a new Big Daddy spawns it will call her back out.
