I accidentally killed Deoxys when he fought me because he ran out of PP and killed himself.

Does he respawn?

Yes, he does! However, in order for that to happen, you must beat the Elite Four. You can repeatedly do this until you catch him. No matter how many times you knock him out, you can keep retrying after beating the Elite Four.

Can you catch Deoxys again?

Yes, you do have to beat the Elite Four in order to catch Deoxys. If Deoxys faints, can I get it again without Elite 4, or will I have to catch it without saving? Your only option is beating the Elite 4 again, because the game saves after defeating/catching Deoxys.
